Davonport is proud to offer a bespoke handmade kitchen service where doors, cabinets
and fully fitted kitchens can be designed and created to add a stylish and individual
touch to any home.
When the highly acclaimed Cookery School at Braxted Park was looking to create a
new kitchen, Davonport was its natural choice to create a kitchen of distinction.
Set in the tranquil Essex countryside, Braxted Park wanted a teaching kitchen that
could cater to up to 20 delegates at a time, while also reflecting the Cookery School’s
crisp branding and complimenting the other historical buildings at Braxted Park.
This was successfully achieved by our designers who created a clean, modern and
versatile kitchen, featuring a large curved arena style work area and work stations
for up to 20 students. The combination of cream white high gloss doors with hand-selected
Pippy Oak accents and large, easy to clean grey-blue ceramic tiles means that the
kitchen is crisp and bright and blends perfectly with the landscape of Braxted Park.
The star of the Cookery School at Braxted Park is the beautiful yet fully functional
centre-stage island unit, where all the students can gather around the chef to watch
demonstrations. Equipment storage has been neatly concealed under each work station,
and the use of timber chopping board style covers for the hobs means that the workstation
space is fully multi-functional.
