Davonport Improver Bench Joiner

Davonport Furniture Ltd, renowned for its bespoke, high-end furniture, is excited to offer an opportunity for an Improver Bench Joiner who has recently completed a Level 3 college course.

This is a permanent position based in our Colchester workshop. The salary is negotiable, reflecting your recent qualification and potential, with opportunities for overtime at increased pay rates.

The ideal candidate for the Improver Bench Joiner position should have:

Recently completed a Level 3 course in Furniture making / Joinery or a relevant apprenticeship.

A basic understanding of joinery.

The ability to interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.

A willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Additional details:

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 4:30, and Friday from 7:00 to 3:15, excluding Bank Holidays.

The position is based at our workshop in Colchester, located at Peartree Road, CO3 0LQ.

The Improver Bench Joiner will report to the Workshop Manager.
