As the festive season unfolds, we find ourselves reflecting on our journey, marking a significant milestone of 30 years in the business of creating bespoke furniture. Our humble beginnings, nestled in a quaint stable and barn near the Tiptree Jam factory, are etched in our memory as vividly as if it were yesterday.

The thrill of transforming that stable into our first workshop, the pride that swelled within us as we crafted our initial pieces of furniture, these are moments we hold dear. The sweet aroma of strawberries, a signature of Tiptree’s renowned jam-making process, would fill the air during the summer, adding a unique charm to our days.

As Davonport has grown and evolved, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to the values that were born in that stable. We believe in quality, in the art of craftsmanship, and in the principle that furniture should be as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing.
