Junior Kitchen Designer Vacancy

Established in 1993, Davonport has become a well-respected brand in the world of bespoke handmade kitchens, having received industry accolades recognising our Design and Manufacturing as well as our Showroom and Marketing Assistant.

Due to the current expansion of our showroom in Colchester, Essex, we are looking to recruit a Junior Designer to join our team. The right candidate will have a great attitude, a design related degree (or equivalent), with some introductory experience in a kitchen/design-based workplace as well as an interest in the world of interiors.

You will be based in our Colchester Design Office, located under the same roof as our showroom and workshops. You will work closely with Davonport’s MD, Richard Davonport, as well as the rest of the design team, providing assistance and support across all aspects of a project. From helping to draft a design to liaising with the production team and suppliers and graduating to eventually a client-facing role managing your own projects.

Product training will be supplied, we are looking for someone with the passion and enthusiasm needed to design and sell beautiful kitchens and interiors of the highest quality.

Initial salary: £18-20k (dependent on experience), with the potential for career progression within first 12 months.
